Marvel Snap Overhauls Conquest Mode with Ranked Seasons
Marvel Snap's Conquest mode gets seasonal ranked tiers, Alliance features, and exclusive rewards in a major competitive overhaul.

Second Dinner's 2022 card game was built by former Hearthstone designers around one constraint: a match lasts three minutes. Decks are twelve cards, there is no mana curve to draw out, each of six turns gives you one more energy, and both players commit their cards simultaneously and reveal at the same time - so the game is about prediction rather than response. Three locations with randomised effects change what winning means; you need two of three, and a location that flips on turn five can undo everything. The Snap mechanic itself is a doubling stake either player can raise, and retreating early to save rank is a legitimate skill. Cards are almost all designed to break a rule rather than have better numbers, which keeps the meta churning. Its progression economy has been the persistent complaint - acquiring specific cards is slow and expensive - and the actual game underneath remains the best mobile card design available. It works on phones, in landscape, at bus stops.
