Kojima Productions' action-espionage project Physint has moved from Sony Interactive Entertainment to Xbox Game Studios. Sony called it a difficult decision to step away; Hideo Kojima says PlayStation Studios sent notice in mid-June that it would cancel the project, and that he spent three months finding a new partner. The deal also extends to film and television.
Update 7.0 is live and free across every platform. Cosmos adds space station directorship, player-run galactic alliances, asteroid belts and derelict hulks to salvage, free-floating orbital bases, universal spacewalking, and a six-week 10th anniversary expedition narrated by Sean Murray - plus DLSS 4.5, XeSS 3 and a long list of performance fixes.
Capcom announced during the September 9 Nintendo Direct that the RE2 Deluxe Edition, RE3 and RE4 Gold Edition remakes are coming to Switch 2, digitally on October 16, 2026 and physically on January 29, 2027.
