The sun explodes twenty-two minutes after you wake up, and then you wake up again. Mobius Digital built an entire game around the idea that the only thing which carries between loops is what you personally understand. There are no upgrades, no unlocks and no combat: the ship you start with can already reach everywhere, and the reason you cannot finish the game in the first hour is that you do not yet know where to point it. Its solar system is hand-built and physically simulated, full of places that change as the loop progresses — a planet draining into its twin, a moon whose interior floods, a city that sinks. Progress is recorded as a wall of notes linking what you have read and seen, and the moment a connection lands is the entire reward structure. It is genuinely unrepeatable; knowing the answers removes the game, which is why people who love it are so careful about how they recommend it. Go in knowing as little as possible, and expect to keep a notebook.
