Gamecom Team has announced Troublemaker 3: Fallen Dynasty, the next entry in its action-comedy beat 'em up series, for PC. The Steam page went live alongside a trailer shown at IGDX 2026. There's no release date or price yet, and the publisher field still reads "To Be Announced", but the store listing already says a fair amount about where the series is headed. In short: a bigger city, four playable leads instead of one, and a story that has moved past schoolyard scraps to a fight against the people running the place.
A city under a dynasty
Fallen Dynasty is set three years after Troublemaker 2 in Jayakarta, the series' fictional take on Jakarta. According to Gamecom Team's description, the city has spent generations under the same political dynasty, and this time it starts pushing back. The studio's tagline is "The Fight Comes from Anyone": ordinary citizens, rising stars, gangsters and even people inside the justice system all have their own reasons to stand up to whoever is in charge.
That's a noticeably wider scope than the series' roots. Troublemaker built its following on the campus brawler formula, with fights in school corridors and back alleys and a lot of slapstick in the cutscenes. The new premise keeps the comedy, since the store page promises districts full of "some stupid citizens", but frames the brawling as a city-wide uprising rather than a personal grudge.

Five districts, the largest world in the series
Gamecom Team calls this the largest world in the series and says you'll get to see "the entire city of Jayakarta like never before". The map is split into North, South, East, West and Central Jayakarta, and each district is described as having its own culture, people and conflicts, along with activities and side stories to find between main missions.
The screenshots back up the street-level focus. Billboards advertise Jakarta food staples like gulai and ayam bakar, sidewalks have the yellow tactile paving you'll recognise from Indonesian cities, and red-and-white pennants hang from lamp posts. It's a specific, local setting rather than a generic Asian metropolis, and that has always been part of the series' appeal.

Four protagonists
The biggest structural change is the cast. Instead of following a single hero, Fallen Dynasty follows four protagonists whose paths cross as the city turns on its rulers:
- Budi, described as the last champion of Cipta Wiyata
- Jordan, a pianist from Beyond Dream
- Febri, an ex-gangster
- Cinthya, a Jayakarta police officer
"Different backgrounds. Different ideals," as the store page puts it. Returning players will spot familiar names, including Budi and the Beyond Dream label, which suggests the sequel is building on the earlier games' cast rather than starting over. A police officer joining the group is an interesting choice for a story about challenging those in power. The studio hasn't said yet how much control you'll have over switching between the four, or whether each has a separate fighting style.
Same brawling, more moves
On combat, Gamecom Team promises a return to the series' "stylish action-comedy beat-'em-up" fighting, with expanded movesets and more environmental interaction. Fights will move between alleys, offices, stages, markets and what the studio calls "political strongholds", and you're encouraged to use whatever is lying around against the regime.

The Steam page lists full controller support, and Windows is the only platform confirmed so far. There's no word on consoles. No system requirements have been published, and with the release date marked "Coming soon", that's probably still some way off.
