Capcom announced during the September 9 Nintendo Direct that the RE2 Deluxe Edition, RE3 and RE4 Gold Edition remakes are coming to Switch 2, digitally on October 16, 2026 and physically on January 29, 2027. They are native ports with the DLC bundled in, and their arrival makes every mainline Resident Evil game playable on the console.
