Battlefield Studios has rolled out Update 1.3.1.5 for Battlefield 6 and the free-to-play Battlefield REDSEC companion mode this morning, with servers cycling onto the new build at 08:00 UTC (4:00 a.m. ET, 1:00 a.m. PT). Branded as a Quality of Life update, the patch concentrates on the new Season 3 maps Hagental Base and Railway to Golmud, the Battle Royale UI, and a short list of weapon and vehicle bugs that have nagged players since the Warlords: Supremacy launch on May 12.
The headline fix targets Railway to Golmud - currently the biggest map in Battlefield 6's rotation. Battlefield Studios has corrected a misplaced spawn point that was popping squads above ground near Objective B, removed floating debris geometry from the destroyed houses on the southwest flank, and patched out a long-running exploit that let attackers capture Objective D from the communication towers above the playspace.
On Hagental Base, the patch closes the Assault Ladder out-of-bounds glitch that let players climb out of combat areas onto the perimeter cliffs. The dev team has also tightened spawn placement for vehicle squads after a wave of complaints about helicopters spawning into geometry.
The REDSEC battle royale companion mode gets the bulk of the UI work. Cosmetic loadout selection has been moved into the lobby - previously players had to commit to a skin before queueing and were locked in for the duration of the round. Matchmaking messaging has been clarified for Ranked Battle Royale, including the rank-separated party warning when a five-stack drops into mixed-skill queues. The Ranked Points counter now behaves correctly above 999, fixing a display bug where players crossing the four-digit threshold would see negative or zero deltas. Placement reward displays at the end-of-round screen have also been redrawn so that the visual reward chain matches the actual XP and currency drops.

Vehicle fixes lean on the AH-6 Little Bird helicopter. Teammates can now deploy onto a Little Bird while the gunner seat is occupied - previously, the spawn-on-vehicle option was locked until the chopper was empty, which broke a lot of squad insertion play. The mounting system has been stabilized across all vehicles, addressing a flicker bug that briefly disconnected the mounting animation from server state during ladder and ledge transitions.
Gadget and weapon work is more surgical. The MTN-55 Proximity Detector - the motion-sensor gadget that arrived with Season 3 - now spots enemies more reliably through suppressing fire and partial cover. The L115 sniper rifle finally remains visible to teammates after the user is revived, fixing a quirk where the marquee long-range weapon would simply vanish from the third-person model after every clutch revive.
Update 1.3.1.5 lands in the middle of Battlefield Studios' three-part Season 3 cadence. The "Warlords: Supremacy" launch on May 12 brought Hagental Base, Railway to Golmud, and the REDSEC Ranked mode. The "Blastpoint Update" is scheduled for June 9, with a new vehicle pack and the much-teased fortified bunker map. The "High-Value Target Update" follows on June 30. Today's QoL drop is intentionally not a content update - community lead Ash Bauman framed it on Tuesday as "the polish patch before the polish content," and it is the second Quality of Life pass since the Season 3 launch.
Patch 1.3.1.5 weighs in at around 9.2 GB on PC, 6.4 GB on PS5, and 6.1 GB on Xbox Series X|S, with the download going live alongside the 08:00 UTC server cycle. Anti-cheat shielding has also been refreshed across all regions - a routine reset that will briefly punt cheaters out of the live pool while EA Javelin re-keys.
