Clash of Clans Kicks Off Its Spookiest May Ever — Skeleton Skins, a Legendary Reward, and Clan War Leagues

Clash of Clans’ May 2026 season drops a Skeleton and Undead theme with a Halloween Grand Warden skin, the game’s first Legendary reward, and Clan War Leagues running May 1-11.

Clash of Clans Kicks Off Its Spookiest May Ever — Skeleton Skins, a Legendary Reward, and Clan War Leagues

Clash of Clans is kicking off its May 2026 season with one of the most creative themes in recent memory. Starting today, the new season introduces a full Skeleton and Undead makeover, bringing haunted hero skins, spooky base decorations, and what Supercell is calling its first-ever Legendary skin reward to the Gold Pass.

Yes, they’re doing Halloween in May. And honestly, it works. The standout reward is the Halloween Grand Warden skin, which sits at the top of the Gold Pass tier track. Early visuals show the Warden wrapped in skeletal armor with an eerie green glow — it’s genuinely one of the best skin designs the game has produced in years.

Gold Pass and Season Rewards

The revamped Gold Pass system continues to evolve with daily tasks, choice nodes, and the Hoggy Bank system that Supercell introduced earlier this year. Purchasing the Gold Pass unlocks the usual suite of perks: Research and Builder Boosts, 1-Gem Donations, the Hoggy Bank Multiplier, and a full spread of potions including Builder, Power, Resource, Training, Research, Pet, and Clock Tower varieties.

The Season Bank resets today as well, meaning your accumulated loot cap starts fresh. If you’ve been saving your attack pushes for the new season, now’s the time to start grinding.

Clan War Leagues Start Now

Running from May 1 through May 11, this month’s Clan War Leagues offer another round of medal farming and competitive matchups. If your clan has been sitting on the sidelines, this is one of the better months to jump back in — the seasonal bonuses stack nicely with CWL medal rewards, making it a strong window to upgrade key heroes and pets.

Fourteen years in, Clash of Clans continues to prove that a game with staying power can still surprise its players. The Skeleton Season might be a bit of seasonal confusion, but it’s the kind of creative risk that keeps the game feeling fresh when it could easily coast on autopilot.
