Delta Force's Biggest Update of the Year Is Live - Season "Meltdown" Adds the AZ3 Nuclear Plant With a Multi-Ending Twist, Cryo Operator N-TWO and a Rainbow Six Siege Crossover

Team Jade has flipped the switch on the biggest Delta Force update of the year. Season “Meltdown” went live across PC, console and mobile on June 30, 2026, and it is not a quiet mid-season patch. This is a headline drop built around a new Operations map, a fresh Engineer Operator, a new Warfare battleground, two new guns and a cinematic storyline about guilt, memory and the choices that refuse to stay buried.

If you have drifted away from the free-to-play shooter since launch, Meltdown is the sort of content wave designed to pull you back. Here is everything that landed with the season, and why the AZ3 Nuclear Plant is quickly becoming the most talked-about map in the game.

The season is anchored by N-TWO, real name Gabriel Mercier, a control-focused Engineer Operator built to slow the battlefield to a crawl. His kit leans into cryogenic suppression: a Freeze Rig and Cryo Flasks that lock enemies in place, plus homing stun grenades that sniff out hidden targets. In a game that usually rewards aggression, an Operator whose entire identity is denial and disruption meaningfully shifts how squads approach both Operations and Warfare.

AZ3 Nuclear Plant and the multi-ending twist

The marquee addition is AZ3 Nuclear Plant, a large-scale Operations map that drops players into a failing nuclear facility as radiation levels climb and systems break down. What makes it stand out is a “multi-ending” mechanic: the choices players make inside the crisis actually shape how the scenario resolves, giving the extraction mode a narrative weight most competitive shooters never bother with. It is a bold experiment for a mode usually defined by loot and getting out alive.

Warfare players are not left out. Coliseum is a brand-new large-team map built around a historic arena and the ruined urban sprawl surrounding it, complete with dynamic fire events that can reroute a firefight mid-match. Between AZ3 and Coliseum, Meltdown is one of the most map-heavy seasons Delta Force has shipped.

New weapons and a Rainbow Six Siege crossover

Two new weapons join the arsenal: the RM277 assault rifle, tuned for mid-range engagements, and the SVCH marksman rifle for players who prefer to hold the long lanes. On top of the core content, Team Jade is running a crossover with Rainbow Six Siege, folding in themed Operators, weapon skins and extra event content for the duration of the season.

Delta Force Meltdown new operator and gear

Delta Force remains free-to-play on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and mobile, and Season Meltdown is live now on all of them. Whether you are here for the extraction drama of AZ3, the chaos of Coliseum, or just to freeze an entire enemy squad in place as N-TWO, this is the strongest reason in months to redeploy.
