Mobile Gaming Heats Up in April With Sea of Stars, Neverness to Everness, and Over 45 New Titles

April 2026 is shaping up to be one of the busiest months mobile gaming has seen in a while. With over 45 new titles dropping across iOS and Android, there is genuinely something for every kind of player this month. Here are the standouts you should have on your radar.

Sea of Stars Finally Goes Mobile

The award-winning turn-based RPG from Sabotage Studio arrives on iOS and Android on April 7, priced at $9.99 with no in-app purchases. Publisher Playdigious rebuilt the game with dedicated touchscreen controls while keeping full physical controller support intact. Cloud saves sync progress between iOS and Android, so you can pick up where you left off on any device. If you missed Sea of Stars on console or PC, this is a fantastic way to experience one of the best RPGs of the past few years on the go.

NTE: Neverness to Everness

The most anticipated mobile launch of the month lands on April 29. Developed by Hotta Studio under Perfect World Games and built in Unreal Engine 5, NTE is a free-to-play open-world action RPG set in the sprawling city of Hethereau, where anomalies and humans coexist. Players take on the role of an unlicensed Anomaly Hunter, taking odd jobs and battling supernatural threats across neon-lit streets. Combat runs in real time with a team of up to four characters, and the Esper Cycle mechanic rewards chaining abilities in the correct order. Beyond combat, you can collect and race sports cars, design apartments, and run businesses. It launches simultaneously on PC, PS5, Mac, iOS, and Android with full cross-platform support.

More Worth Watching

The genre spread this month leans heavily toward idle RPGs and tactical RPGs, but cozy gaming continues its march into the mainstream with titles like Animal Farm Life and Goobie Garden rounding out the lineup. Whether you are after a premium single-purchase experience or a free-to-play time sink, April has you covered.
