One of the most anticipated JRPGs in years finally peeked out from the shadows. Atlus shared a first teaser for Persona 6 at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, confirming the next mainline entry is on its way to Xbox.

True to Persona’s love of bold visual identity, the teaser was all mood and symbolism: a striking green-tinged palette, imagery of a graveyard and unsettling collages of people stitched together from cut-up photographs. It is a tonal calling card rather than a gameplay reveal — classic Atlus.

No release date was announced, but simply seeing Persona 6 in motion — and confirmed for Xbox — was one of the showcase’s biggest moments for RPG fans.
