Pragmata Lands on Switch 2 With Full Portable Sci-Fi — Capcom’s Lunar Adventure Goes Handheld

Capcom’s long-awaited sci-fi action-adventure Pragmata has officially arrived on Nintendo Switch 2 as of April 24, expanding its reach beyond PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC where it launched just one week earlier on April 17. The Switch 2 version represents Capcom’s confidence in Nintendo’s new hardware, delivering the full lunar research station experience in a portable package.

Pragmata follows spacefarer Hugh and his android companion Diana as they navigate a hostile lunar research station controlled by a rogue AI known as IDUS. The game blends action, puzzle-solving, and cooperative mechanics as the pair work together to survive the station’s dangers and find their way back to Earth. A new character named Eight — another child-like android similar to Diana — adds further intrigue to the unfolding mystery.

Early reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. Nintendo Life awarded the game a 9 out of 10, calling it "the full package" and praising its "strong relationship at its core, a striking sci-fi aesthetic, and an addictive puzzle combat loop." The Switch 2 port appears to hold up remarkably well against its counterparts on more powerful hardware, making it an impressive showcase for what Nintendo’s latest console can achieve.

The game’s visual design draws heavily from anime and classic science fiction, with the lunar setting creating an eerie but beautiful backdrop for exploration. Hugh’s hacking abilities and Diana’s unique android powers form a satisfying gameplay loop that keeps players engaged as they uncover the station’s dark secrets layer by layer.

A free demo is currently available across all platforms including the Switch 2, letting players sample the opening hours before committing. With Capcom riding high on stellar reviews and strong multiplatform availability, Pragmata is shaping up to be one of the standout titles of spring 2026.
