One of last year's most unlikely success stories is finally pulling onto console. RV There Yet?, the physics-driven co-op comedy about wrestling a beat-up recreational vehicle home through the back country, arrives on Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Microsoft Store on June 30, complete with day-one Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere support.
If you missed its PC debut, the short version is staggering. Swedish studio Nuggets Entertainment built RV There Yet? during a game jam and tossed it onto Steam in October 2025 with, by their own admission, no real expectations. It promptly detonated — peaking around 100,000 concurrent players, charting among Steam's best-sellers, and going on to sell more than 4.5 million copies.

Why it caught fire
The hook is gloriously simple: you and up to three friends are trying to get a creaky RV home, and the road actively hates you. Janky terrain, precarious mountain passes, and the vehicle's own wobbly physics turn every trip into a slapstick negotiation between teammates — one person steering, everyone else frantically managing the chaos as the whole rig threatens to tip, slide, or disassemble itself. It is the kind of cooperative pratfall machine that thrives on streams and group voice chat, where the failures are funnier than the wins.

Console-ready and still growing
Nuggets hasn't treated the game as a one-and-done jam project, either. The studio has kept patching what it cheekily called 'an unplanned content update for an unplanned game,' adding routes and refinements as the player base ballooned. Bringing it to Xbox — and into Game Pass on day one — opens the floodgates to a console audience that has been watching the clips for months.
For a comedy co-op game that exists purely to make a carful of friends laugh until they crash, June 30 is the moment it goes from PC cult hit to living-room staple.
