Silver Palace finally has a launch date. Elementa and developer Silver Studio have confirmed that their free-to-play open-world detective RPG goes live worldwide on December 14 on PlayStation 5, PC and iOS and Android. The date arrived this morning in a new character trailer, "The Foolish and the Brave", built around Gratia, a cheerful knight with rabbit ears. It caps more than a year of pre-registration, festival showings and character teasers.
Where and how you can play
The launch is simultaneous across every announced platform. On PC there are two routes in: the game's own downloadable client, or the Epic Games Store. Console players will find it on the PlayStation Store, where the PS5 version was confirmed at gamescom in August, and mobile players can download it from the App Store and Google Play. Silver Palace is free to download, and the store listings are already live to wishlist or pre-register.
Global pre-registration is still open, and its rewards scale with the community's total follower count across the game's official social channels rather than with individual sign-ups. The milestones run from 15 million to 35 million followers. Along the way they unlock 80,000 Ounce, the in-game currency, three volumes of The Science of All Things, two batches of Simulation Shots, and at 30 million a new 4-star character handed to every player.

A detective story in a city of fairy tales
You play a once-famous detective returning to Silvernia, a radiant city with a Victorian feel, to reopen an agency that has gathered dust while you were away. The premise blends the casebook with the storybook. Old friends and new acquaintances are waiting, and the crimes, conspiracies and schemes you investigate lead you through settings drawn from fairy tales and fables. Cinderella appears on the cast list as a playable character, and the supporting roster reads like a period drama's call sheet: a chief inspector, a doctor, a bartender, a maid and an apprentice.
The developer has spent the run-up building that world one piece at a time. A string of "Character Title Page" videos introduced individual cast members over the summer. This week brought a series called Hidden Pages, short case-file teasers titled The Doppelganger Mystery and The Chivalry Mystery, which ran on consecutive days before the release date dropped.
Open-world action between the cases
Silver Palace is not a point-and-click mystery. Between investigations it plays as a third-person action RPG, with a party of characters to recruit and level, and open streets and plazas to explore. The combat leans on big, flashy weapon arcs and on spectral enemies that tower over the player. The gamescom trailer, "The Price of Truth", also introduced House of Greed, a multiplayer mode that adds a social, competitive layer on top of the main story.

Who is Gratia?
The launch-date trailer focuses on Gratia, whose title card names her a knight and pairs her with the phrase "The Foolish and the Brave". She is a bright, theatrical counterpoint to the moodier detectives in the key art. The trailer is out in English, Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese, which signals how wide Elementa intends the day-one rollout to be. The publisher has not said whether Gratia will be available at launch or arrive in a later banner. Players chasing her should watch the official channels as December approaches.

What to do before December 14
If Silver Palace is on your radar, the practical steps are simple. Pre-register through the official site or the mobile stores to make sure the milestone rewards land in your account, and add the game to your PlayStation or Epic wishlist so you are notified on launch day. PC players can choose between the standalone client and the Epic version, but should pick one: there is no word yet on whether progress moves between launchers.
With a mid-December date, Silver Palace lands in a crowded month for free-to-play launches. It enters with an unusual hook for the genre, a detective framing in place of the usual adventure fantasy, and it shares one global date across console, PC and mobile.
