Podracing is back. At Summer Game Fest, developer Fuse Games and publisher Secret Mode unveiled a story trailer for Star Wars: Galactic Racer, confirming an October 6, 2026 launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The trailer delivered a pulse-pounding look at the single-player mode, including the never-before-seen Derven Acos arena, plus multiplayer podracing action that reaches well beyond the famous Mos Espa Circuit. For fans who've been chasing that Episode I high since 1999, it's a very welcome return to the cockpit.
A grudge at 700 miles per hour
There's a story driving the speed. Kestar Bool rules the Outer Rim's Galactic League as its champion, using his status to intimidate rival pilots, while up-and-comer Shade enters the League with a personal grudge against the Bool family, aiming to topple the corrupt champion. The League itself was founded by a figure named Darius Pax.
