Owlcat Games has opened the doors to one of the most infamous collections in the galaxy. Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader — The Infinite Museion, the CRPG's third major story expansion, launched on June 11, 2026, drawing the von Valancius dynasty into the legendary vault of Trazyn the Infinite. It is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
Into Trazyn's vault
The setup is pure Warhammer 40,000 grandeur. Trazyn the Infinite — the Necron archivist obsessed with hoarding the galaxy's relics, heroes and oddities — pulls the Rogue Trader into the Infinite Museion, a sprawling collection where priceless artefacts and dangerous secrets sit side by side. Players can chase rare treasures, dig into hidden truths about the dynasty's own history, and ultimately decide whether to serve one of the galaxy's most notorious collectors or oppose his designs.
Implants, augmentations and a new companion
Owlcat is pairing the roughly 15 hours of new story with fresh systems. The headline addition is implants, an augmentation mechanic that lets characters enhance themselves and be deployed strategically in battle, opening up new build paths for veterans who have already optimised their crews. The expansion also introduces a new companion, Eogunn Februs, alongside new locations and a questline that leans deeper into the series' simmering Necron conflicts.
For a game already celebrated for the sheer density of its choices and reactivity, a Trazyn-themed vault is fertile ground — equal parts treasure hunt, moral quandary and lore deep-dive.
The Rogue Trader keeps growing
The Infinite Museion continues Owlcat's steady post-launch support for Rogue Trader, expanding both the map of Koronus and the systems players use to navigate it. Whether you treat Trazyn as a patron or a problem to be solved, the latest expansion gives the Rogue Trader a reason to set a new course — and another excuse to lose another dozen hours to the grimdark.
