Zenless Zone Zero begins its third season on June 17, 2026 with Version 3.0, “A Sleepwalker's Confession” — and HoYoverse is pairing the update with the game's long-awaited Steam debut, complete with cross-platform save sharing across mobile, PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
The headline addition is Roscaelifer, a mysterious sky island that opens for the first time and anchors Season 3's new story. New Eridu's Proxies get a fresh slice of the world to explore, along with a wave of new Agents to chase.
New Agents — and a brand-new rarity tier
Version 3.0 introduces Velina, an S-Rank Anomaly Agent and, notably, the first Wind-attribute Agent in ZZZ history, shaking up a roster that has so far leaned on Physical, Fire, Ice, Electric and Ether. She is followed by Norma, an S-Rank Fire Stun Agent billed as an adorable little scientist.
The bigger shake-up is Pyrois, a Phaethon-faction Agent who introduces ZZZ's first-ever Z-Rank rarity tier, sitting above the familiar S-Rank ceiling. Better still, Pyrois is being gifted free to all players as a Season 3 launch reward, alongside 1,600 Polychromes to spend on the new banners.
A mobile flagship, now everywhere
ZZZ has always been a mobile flagship for HoYoverse, and Version 3.0 widens the net considerably. The June 17 rollout covers iOS, Android, PC, PlayStation 5 and 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S and Cloud Gaming, with the simultaneous Steam release letting players carry their progress wherever they go thanks to cross-save.
Between a free Z-Rank Agent, a generous Polychrome handout, two new S-Ranks and an entirely new region, “A Sleepwalker's Confession” is one of the most stacked ZZZ updates to date — and an obvious jumping-on point for anyone who has been waiting for the Steam version.
