Rockstar handed Netflix 27 uninterrupted minutes of Grand Theft Auto VI running on a base PS5 - and it finally showed the Jason-and-Lucia premise as a mechanic rather than a story. A six-star wanted level that persists after you torch the car, Max Payne-style gunplay with pickup weapons, a slim jim for quiet car thefts, Red Dead-style NPC conversations with a karma nudge for petting dogs, and a Leonida dense enough that the size is the least interesting thing about it.
