Annapurna Interactive shut down rumors that Mixtape would be delisted over expiring music rights, confirming all 28 licensed tracks are paid in perpetuity. Creative director Johnny Galvatron told Kotaku the team paid extra at signing so the soundtrack - Joy Division, Iggy Pop, the Smashing Pumpkins, the Cure, and more - can never lapse.
