Azur Promilia, the creature-companion fantasy RPG from Azur Lane studio Manjuu, finally has a launch date. The free-to-play game arrives on November 26 on PC, iOS and Android in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and mainland China, and pre-registration is open now on the regional App Store and Google Play listings. Players in the West still have a long wait: the English version is aiming for an open beta in summer 2027.
Four regions, four publishers
Manjuu is not handling the Asian launch alone. Yostar publishes the game in Japan, Nexon handles South Korea, JIMI takes Taiwan, and Manjuu self-publishes in mainland China. Japan's App Store listing, published under Yostar's name, already shows the November 26 date and the game's Japanese title, アズールプロミリア, so iPhone and iPad players there can pre-order the free download today. In South Korea the game is also listed on the Galaxy Store, and Chinese Android players can pre-register through TapTap.
The date follows a big milestone. Earlier this month Manjuu said Azur Promilia had passed 20 million pre-registrations worldwide, a huge number for a game that has not yet launched anywhere and has never been playable in English.
What Azur Promilia actually is
You play a prophesied traveller who arrives on the continent of Promilia and sets out with a growing party of companions to face a looming catastrophe. The hook is the Kibo, the fantastical creatures that live across the world. You befriend them rather than simply fight them, and they become partners in exploration, combat and everyday life.

The world itself is fully 3D and open, with distinct cultures, ecosystems and races sharing the land. The official store screenshots show forests, crystal-studded valleys and a walled city topped by a giant stone arch, and you reach plenty of it from the air on the back of a flying Kibo.
Real-time combat with a team
Fights play out in real time. You control one character on the field with a dodge, a basic attack and a set of skills, while your other party members wait on the side of the screen to be swapped in. Manjuu's own pitch for the combat is simple: take on powerful enemies together, because teamwork is the key to winning. Large bosses, like the winged beast in the store art, show combo counters and level-50 health bars, which hints at a late game built around coordinated team play.

A farm of your own
Between adventures, Azur Promilia leans hard into slow life. You build and run your own homestead, where your Kibo help with the work. Crops, workshops and thatched outbuildings all appear in the official images, and the developer describes the farm as a place to enjoy a relaxed, carefree routine. Creature collecting, farming and action RPG combat all sit in the same world, wrapped in the anime character art Manjuu is known for from Azur Lane.

PC, phones, and a PS5 version later
The November 26 launch covers PC, iOS and Android only. The game was first announced with a PlayStation 5 version as well, and Manjuu's English announcement describes Azur Promilia as being in active development for PS5, PC, iOS and Android. No PS5 date has been given for any region, so the console version is likely to arrive alongside the English release window or later.
When can English-speaking players try it?
Not this year. Manjuu has said the English open beta is planned for summer 2027 on a dedicated US-based server, and that the team is working on the English version after its China test. Exact beta dates have not been announced, and there is no confirmed global launch date yet. The studio has also opened an official English X account and released an English promotional video, so more details should come through there.
Until then, the Asian launch on November 26 is the first time anyone outside a closed test will be able to play. Because the game is free to download, players with a Japanese, Korean or Taiwanese store account will be able to try it on day one, though the game will only be in those regions' languages.
