Polyphony Digital is timing its latest Gran Turismo 7 drop perfectly. Free Update 1.70 arrives on June 11, 2026, and it leans all the way into endurance racing - adding five cars headlined by four modern Le Mans-class prototypes, landing just as the real 24 Hours of Le Mans gets underway.
Five new cars - four of them Hypercars
The update adds the Ferrari 499P '23, the Porsche 963 '24, the BMW M Hybrid V8 '25 and the Peugeot 9X8 '25 - four machines that currently compete at the top tier of the WEC Hypercar and IMSA GTP classes. Rounding out the set is the Porsche 911 Turbo S Safety Car (992). The additions push Gran Turismo 7's garage to a total of 570 cars.
New menu and Le Mans events
Update 1.70 also adds an Extra Menu Book - 'Collection: Hybrid Prototypes' (No. 54, for Collector Level 64 and above) - which tasks you with collecting the classic 2016 Audi R18, Porsche 919 Hybrid and Toyota TS050 Hybrid. On top of that, three new World Circuits events arrive, including a Gr.1 prototype race at the 24 Heures du Mans Racing Circuit - the ideal way to put those new Hypercars to work.
As always, Update 1.70 is a free download for all Gran Turismo 7 players on PS5, PS4 and PS VR2, rolling out after a short period of server maintenance.
