After years of anticipation since its initial reveal in 2020, Pragmata is finally touching down. Capcom has confirmed that its sci-fi action adventure will launch on April 17, 2026, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Pragmata puts players in the role of Hugh, a field operative who teams up with an android companion named Diana as they navigate the corridors and open expanses of a lunar research station. The game blends third-person exploration with a unique hacking system that lets players manipulate the environment, enemies, and technology around them in creative ways. Capcom describes it as an entirely new IP with its own gameplay identity.
The near-future setting centers on a mystery at the heart of the moon base, with Capcom promising a narrative-driven experience that balances spectacle with quieter moments of discovery. Early previews have highlighted the visual fidelity of the lunar environments, which shift between claustrophobic interior sections and vast exterior landscapes with Earth hanging in the sky above.
