Vampire Crawlers Turns Vampire Survivors Into a Deckbuilding Dungeon Crawler on April 21

Vampire Crawlers reimagines Vampire Survivors as a turn-based deckbuilding dungeon crawler, launching April 21 on all platforms with day-one Game Pass at just $9.99.

Vampire Crawlers Turns Vampire Survivors Into a Deckbuilding Dungeon Crawler on April 21

Poncle and Nosebleed Interactive are putting a wild spin on the Vampire Survivors formula. Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors launches on April 21, 2026, across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, and it is coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one.

Rather than another real-time bullet heaven experience, Vampire Crawlers pivots to turn-based deckbuilding with roguelite progression. Players explore grid-based dungeons, building card decks that determine their abilities, attacks, and movement options. The snowballing power fantasy that defined Vampire Survivors is still here, but filtered through an entirely different mechanical lens.

The game features a cast of characters drawn from the Vampire Survivors universe, each with unique starting decks and passive abilities. Runs are structured around branching dungeon paths, where players choose which encounters, shops, and events to tackle before facing off against massive bosses. Permanent meta-progression unlocks new cards, characters, and dungeon modifiers between runs.

At just $9.99, Poncle is once again pricing aggressively. The original Vampire Survivors became one of the most successful indie games in recent memory at a similar price point, and the studio clearly believes accessibility is key to building a massive audience. Mobile versions for iOS and Android are planned for later in 2026.

Nosebleed Interactive, the studio behind Arcade Paradise, is co-developing the title. It is a collaboration that pairs Poncle's design philosophy of escalating chaos with Nosebleed's experience in creating polished, mechanically tight games. For deckbuilder fans and Vampire Survivors devotees alike, April 21 should be worth circling on the calendar.
