Sonic Rumble Party's Space Ranger Season 6 Is Live

Sonic Rumble Party's sci-fi Season 6 is live through June 25 with Space Ranger skins, a new Skin Fragment Challenge system and a Popeye crossover, across iOS, Android and Steam.

Sonic Rumble Party's Space Ranger Season 6 Is Live

Dr. Eggman's Toy World has gone interstellar. Sonic Rumble Party, SEGA and Sonic Team's 32-player arcade royale, is deep into Season 6, a sci-fi-themed run that landed on May 20 and stays live through June 25, 2026. If you have been waiting for an excuse to drop back into the chaos on your phone, this is a generous one.

For the uninitiated: Sonic Rumble Party is a free-to-play party royale where up to 32 racers tumble through three escalating rounds, grabbing as many rings as possible while obstacles, traps and other players conspire to ruin your day. It is on iOS, Android, Google Play Games and Steam, with cross-platform play tying it all together.

Space Rangers, assemble

Season 6 leans all the way into a sci-fi space-patrol theme. The headline cosmetics are the new Space Ranger skins and Buddies, earned through missions or bought from the in-game Red Star Ring Shop. The Free Pass alone hands out the Pixel Amy skin and an RC Satellite Buddy, while the Premium Pass stacks on the Space Ranger Tails skin and a Space Ranger Chao Buddy among other rewards.

The big-ticket item is the Space Ranger Sonic skin, paired with a Master King Koco Buddy, both waiting in the Red Star Ring Shop for players willing to grind the season's premium currency. It is the kind of marquee outfit that gives the whole season its identity, and it looks the part bouncing around Toy World's neon obstacle courses.

Fragment Challenges change the grind

The most interesting addition this season isn't a skin at all — it's a system. Skin Fragment Challenges debut in Season 6, letting you collect fragments across Squad Mode, Co-op Battles, the Daily Claw Machine and Toy Capsules, then cash them in for cosmetics like Gold Style Knuckles, Detective Cream, Captain Vector and Ruby Silver. It is a smart way to reward the modes people actually play rather than funneling everything through a single battle pass track.

Crossovers keep the party busy

Season 6 didn't arrive alone. A Popeye crossover event ran alongside the launch, and SEGA has been funneling free goodies into Sonic Rumble Party to celebrate the launch of stablemate Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds — the kind of cross-promotion that keeps a live-service party game feeling busy. With the season wrapping on June 25, now is the window to clear the pass, chase those fragments and bag Space Ranger Sonic before the next theme rolls in.
