Warhammer Survivors finally has a date. Auroch Digital, the studio behind Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, says its bullet-heaven spin-off launches on November 10, 2026 on PC, consoles and mobile, and it will cost $7.99 / £6.39 / €7.49, with small variations by platform and region. Alongside the date, the studio put out a new PC demo, revealed a new enemy faction and showed off two more playable champions, one from each of the game's two settings.
A release-date trailer and a pocket-money price
The game is made with Games Workshop's Warhammer team and poncle, the studio behind Vampire Survivors, and it follows that game's formula closely. You steer a single hero around a stage while weapons fire on their own, collect experience from the dead, and stack upgrades until the screen is more projectile than enemy. What's different is the cast: Survivors pulls from both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar, so a run can go from a Space Hulk's corridors to the ash plains of Aqshy depending on which universe you pick.
The low price matches the genre's pricing, and Auroch is promising plenty for it. The store page lists more than 40 playable champions, more than 75 weapons (including, as a joke, a pot of Nuln Oil paint), multiple modes and stages, each with its own enemy faction, and harder "Extremis" bosses aimed at genre veterans. Named champions so far include Commissar Sebastian Yarrick, the Stormcast Eternal Neave Blacktalon and Boltgun's own Malum Caedo.
Pre-orders, and when they open on each platform
Pre-orders are staggered by platform:
- PlayStation 5: open now. PlayStation Plus members get 10% off when pre-ordering.
- Nintendo Switch and Switch 2: pre-orders begin October 6 in select territories.
- Xbox: pre-orders begin October 27.
- Steam: no pre-order, but the game will be 10% off for its first week.
Auroch says it wants the launch discount on as many platforms as possible and will confirm the rest closer to release. Mobile is confirmed for launch day, but the studio hasn't yet given pre-order details for iOS and Android.

Morvenn Vahl brings a warsuit to the swarm
The first of the two newly detailed champions is Morvenn Vahl, the High Abbess of the Adepta Sororitas, who has been in the game's key art from the start but hadn't been shown in play until now. She is one of the larger characters on the roster and fights from inside her Paragon Warsuit.
Her starting weapon is the Heavy Bolter Fidelis, which fires a wide arc of shells in front of her. Fitting the Sisters' faith-powered theme, each burst has a chance to trigger a "miracle" that raises the weapon's rate of fire for a while. Evolve it and Fidelis becomes the Purgator Mirabilis, which adds the warsuit's Paragon Missile Launcher. That throws scattered missile salvos across the field on top of the bolter spray, an upgrade aimed at the dense, endless hordes the genre is built around.

Lyssa Revenya fights with her burglary tools
The Age of Sigmar side of the reveal is Lyssa Revenya, a thief and tomb-robber from the city of Lethis and a member of the Saviours of Cinderfall. Her kit is designed to keep her at range. Her Rope and Grapnel fires hooks in from random edges of the screen, which hit marked points on the battlefield, damage anything in the way and drag survivors along with them.
When it evolves, the grapnel calls on the spirit of Rhea, Lyssa's former mentor. The spirit appears as a shrieking banshee that sweeps across the arena and bursts into a cloud of damaging ghostly fog. The developers suggest pairing the two: use the hooks to pull enemies into the path of Rhea's attacks.
A new demo and a new enemy faction
If you'd rather try it before buying, a new demo is live on Steam now. It features two new champions, the Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Revenya, along with new weapons and abilities and general improvements. Progress from the earlier demo won't carry over, and nothing from this demo transfers to the full game.
The studio also revealed a new enemy faction: the Gloomspite Gitz. These are Age of Sigmar's fungus-obsessed grots. They're small, but they arrive in huge numbers and bring support with them, from the hungry, bouncing Squigs to the giant Troggoths.

A busy month for Auroch Digital
Survivors is the second of two Warhammer launches from Auroch in quick succession. Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 arrives first, on October 14, less than a month before Survivors on November 10. Boltgun 2 is the bigger release of the two, but Survivors is cheap, has a demo and works across the full Warhammer setting, so it may well reach the wider audience.
