Kuro Games has locked in the date that Wuthering Waves players have been circling all month. The free-to-play action RPG's Version 3.4 Preview Special Broadcast airs on May 29 at 19:00 (UTC+8), and it is set to pull back the curtain on one of the year's most anticipated mobile crossovers: the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration.
The team first teased the team-up earlier this month with a slick preview titled 'Good Morning, Solaris!', confirming that two fan favourites from the Netflix and TRIGGER anime are crossing over into Solaris-3.
Lucy and a free Rebecca join the roster
The headliners are Lucy and Rebecca. Lucy arrives as a limited 5-star Resonator - Wuthering Waves' first Spectro pistol main DPS - wielding the monowire that defined her in the show. Rebecca, meanwhile, brings her oversized guns to the fight, and in a rare show of generosity she will be handed out for free: every player who logs in during the event period can claim the 5-star for nothing. The teaser also slipped in a brief cameo from David Martinez gazing up at the moon, leaving fans to speculate about how much further the crossover might go.

What to expect from the 3.4 broadcast
The May 29 livestream will fill in the details that the teaser left open - banner schedules, event mechanics, the new map content of Lahai-Roi and, as always, a batch of redemption codes for tuning in. The collaboration and the rest of Version 3.4 are expected to hit live servers on June 8 across iOS, Android, PC and PlayStation 5, with full cross-progression.

For a genre where premium crossover characters are usually locked behind paid banners, a free 5-star Rebecca is a notable sweetener - and a strong reason for lapsed players to log back in. Mobile fans can tune into the Version 3.4 Preview Special Broadcast on Wuthering Waves' official YouTube and Twitch channels on May 29.
