Wuthering Waves has kicked off its most ambitious collaboration yet. Version 3.4, The Dream Not Dreamed, went live on June 8 and brings Kuro Games' open-world action RPG together with Studio Trigger's acclaimed anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, dropping fan-favourites Lucy and Rebecca straight into the world of Solaris-3.
It is the first-ever crossover for Wuthering Waves, and a high-profile one: the collaboration is a partnership with CD PROJEKT RED, and it continues Lucy's story rather than simply cameoing the characters.
Both Edgerunners stars join as 5-star Resonators. Lucy fights with her signature monowire for a fast, precise, high-mobility style, while Rebecca brings chaos with her oversized dual guns and heavy burst damage - direct nods to how the pair fight in the anime. In a generous touch for players, Rebecca is being given away for free during the event.

The heart of the crossover is a limited-time event zone called Somnoire: Night City - an alternate-reality slice of Night City reconstructed from Lucy's memories, where players watch Lucy and Rebecca interact with established Wuthering Waves characters. There are nods to the wider Cyberpunk universe scattered throughout for longtime fans to spot.
Version 3.4 is more than just the collaboration, too. As a numbered update it brings the usual wave of new story content, events and rewards on top of the limited-time Edgerunners festivities, giving both returning hunters and Cyberpunk newcomers plenty of reason to log in.

Wuthering Waves is free-to-play and available now on iOS, Android, PC and PlayStation 5, with cross-progression across platforms. The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover is a limited-time event, so players hoping to add Lucy and Rebecca to their roster will want to dive in before the banners and Somnoire: Night City close out.
