Attack on Titan 3's "Next Scouting Report" Airs Today - Omega Force's Most Complete Adaptation Yet Should Finally Reveal Its Release Date and ODM Combat Overhaul

Today is the day Attack on Titan fans have been circling since Summer Game Fest. Koei Tecmo and Omega Force host the “Next Scouting Report,” a worldwide broadcast dedicated to Attack on Titan 3, on July 1, 2026 at 3:00 PM PT / 6:00 PM ET. It is the first proper deep dive since the game was revealed in early June, and it is where we expect the biggest outstanding question to finally be answered: when can we actually play it?

Here is what we know heading into the stream, and what to watch for once it goes live.

The most complete Attack on Titan game yet

Omega Force is billing Attack on Titan 3 as “the ultimate culmination” of its long-running action series, adapting the story from the Survey Corps’ earliest days all the way to its dramatic conclusion. Crucially, that means the Final Season material neither previous Omega Force game covered – the Rumbling, the confrontation with the Founding Titan and the series’ climactic battles – is finally in scope, alongside brand-new original story content developed for the game.

Attack on Titan 3 omni-directional mobility gear combat

Combat is getting an overhaul, too. The studio is promising a more acrobatic, higher-intensity take on the omni-directional mobility (ODM) gear that defines the franchise, built to capture the terror, speed and sheer scale of the anime’s biggest clashes. For the first time in the series, players will ready their blades against the Nine Titans directly.

What the Next Scouting Report should reveal

The broadcast is hosted by two voices fans will instantly recognize: Yui Ishikawa, the Japanese voice of Mikasa Ackerman, and Shiori Mikami, who voices Historia Reiss. That casting choice signals a presentation aimed squarely at longtime fans rather than a dry data dump.

Attack on Titan 3 Titan battle

Top of everyone’s wishlist is a release date. Attack on Titan 3 is confirmed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam, but so far the launch window has only been listed as “to be announced.” Expect the stream to also show extended gameplay of the ODM overhaul, a clearer look at which story arcs are playable, and potentially some detail on the original scenarios Omega Force is weaving in.

Attack on Titan 3 characters and world

The Next Scouting Report airs today on Koei Tecmo’s official channels. If you have been waiting for the Attack on Titan game that finally tells the whole story, this is the broadcast that should tell you when you can experience it. We will be watching – and we will update once the details are official.
