Dave the Diver, MINTROCKET's genre-blending cult hit, is finally taking the plunge onto phones. The studio has confirmed a worldwide iOS and Android launch on August 27, 2026, bringing the full Blue Hole adventure to touchscreens after the game's earlier mobile debut in China.
For the uninitiated, Dave the Diver splits each day in two. By daylight (and often well past it), you're free-diving into the ever-shifting Blue Hole to harvest fish, uncover secrets and survive the occasional close call. By night, that catch becomes the menu at a sushi restaurant you manage — hiring staff, upgrading gear and keeping customers happy. It sounds scattered on paper; in practice it became one of 2023's most beloved surprises, selling millions across PC and console.

The whole game, reworked for touch
Crucially, MINTROCKET says this is not a stripped-down port. The complete dual-gameplay loop — diving and restaurant management — makes the jump with no content removed. What has changed is the interface: controls and UI have been reworked for touchscreens, with mechanics designed specifically to make diving and sushi-slinging feel natural on a smaller screen.

Free to start, one-time unlock
The mobile version will be free to download, with the full experience unlocked via a single $9.99 purchase — no drip-fed energy timers or gacha hooks, in keeping with the premium spirit of the original. Pre-registration is live now on both the Apple App Store and Google Play ahead of the August 27 rollout.
It's one of the more exciting premium mobile arrivals of the summer: a complete, critically adored adventure shrunk into your pocket without cutting corners. Dave the Diver surfaces on iOS and Android worldwide on August 27, 2026.
