Two years after launch, Delta Force has rolled out its anniversary season, and it is one of the meatier drops the extraction shooter has done. Reorientation went live on September 8 across iOS, Android, PC and console with no downtime, and it brings a new support operator, a rebuilt map, a new Warfare map, and - genuinely - fishing.
The season runs through early November, and the 2nd Anniversary Celebration event is live from September 8 to November 9.
Rover and Clover
The new support operator is Rowan Walsh, code name Rover, and he does not come alone. His signature ability, Man's Best Friend, blows a dog whistle to call in a military dog - Clover - that fights alongside him.
Clover is not a cosmetic. She continuously senses enemies within range: if there is a target nearby she locks onto the closest one, actively pursues it, tackles it, and applies a Mark. If there is nothing to chase she stays on Alert and follows you. On a map with as many blind corners as Layali Grove, an autonomous spotter that physically pins a runner is a real change to how you clear a compound.
Rover's other tool is the Dart Rifle, which fires syringes that burst into a lingering mist. In Operations the mist continuously heals allies' injured limbs while reducing the maximum HP of enemies caught inside and dealing damage over time. In Warfare it works the same way. It is a support kit that punishes players who stand still, which is a neat pairing with a dog whose entire job is making people move.
The New Operator event runs September 8 to October 8 - unlock Rover and complete the skill trial missions for Tactical Armament Vouchers and an exclusive Name Card.
The Mog
Warfare gets a new map called The Mog, built on an urban warfare scenario in the mould of Black Hawk Down - dense low-rise blocks, wrecked streets, and helicopters overhead. It supports Convoy Escort and King of the Hill.
Team Jade has already been tuning it. A September 10 patch adjusted deployment points for the Sector B and C phases, reworked the Sector C boundary and combat area, reduced the number of deployment bases above the attacking team in Sector C, and turned C2 into a secondary objective. The Escort the Convoy phase got a broader pass: less damage to the convoy from anti-vehicle mines, guided missiles and artillery barrages, a slightly faster convoy, a revised timer (4:30 to start, 45 seconds per checkpoint), and shorter attacker spawn distances.
Layali Grove 2.0, and the fishing thing
The Operations map Layali Grove has had a major overhaul - three new zones, reworked waterways, new vehicles, and a new benchmark. The event framing is unusually soft for an extraction shooter: three veterans have shown up with fishing rods, harmonicas and stories, sitting by the river away from the fighting. Completing Layali Grove event missions between September 8 and October 8 earns the Catastrophe Strikes calling card.
Fishing is a real new Operations mini-mode. So is Polaris Patrol, a Space City mini-mode, and Space City itself has had its extraction points reworked - Black Chamber and Buoyancy Lab now use randomised switch extraction locations, with new routes through the Central Garden area. There is also a brand-new 1v1 mode, new weapons and ammo types, and a long list of balance changes.
What to claim while it is live
The season sign-in event runs September 8 to 17 and hands out the Haavk Guard M4A1 skin and TurBrick Deltaversary gifts for accumulated login days. The anniversary event through November 9 awards the Golden State AUG plus the 2nd Anniversary Celebration avatar, charm, calling card and spray paint set.
Nine new firearm appearances arrived with the season, including three Epic Great White skins for the FS-12, VSS and AKS-74, and Rare sets for the SCAR-H, AKM, M16A4, SVD, G18C and M14.
The other balance news
Hudson's Surge Squad took a hit in the September 10 update. The AI now has more vulnerable moments - during reloads, turns, and between firing bursts - and has lost the ability to lock onto targets through walls, which had been a persistent complaint. The same patch made AZ3 Normal permanently available and fixed a bug where players could get stuck after being attacked by Clover, which is a very 2026 patch note.
All of it is live now on iOS and Android alongside the PC and console builds, with cross-platform progression intact.
