Konami is running its own showcase two days from now, and it is doing it in the same 24 hours as PlayStation's double State of Play. Konami Press Start airs on September 3 at 8:00 a.m. PT / 11:00 a.m. ET / 4:00 p.m. BST - midnight JST on the 4th - and runs roughly 30 minutes.
The billing is short and specific. Konami says the broadcast carries "news and updates" on SILENT HILL: Townfall, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse and Rev. NOiR, with Project Zircon, eFootball Kick-Off! and unnamed others also in the mix. It promises new gameplay footage, video messages from the development teams, and "exclusive footage" not shown anywhere else.
It also comes with an unusually blunt disclaimer: there will be no Silent Hill remake news. Konami has stated that outright, ahead of time, which is the kind of pre-emptive expectation management a publisher only bothers with when it knows exactly which comment thread is coming.
Townfall is three weeks out
SILENT HILL: Townfall is the one with a clock on it. Developed by Screen Burn and published by Konami alongside Annapurna Interactive, it arrives on September 24 (Steam's store page lists September 23), which makes this showcase the last real marketing beat before launch. Konami spent late August dripping out cryptic clips built around a handheld CRT television - a device the game calls a CRTV - and then dropped a cast reveal trailer on the 25th.

The premise Konami has settled on is narrow and specific: Simon Ordell returns to an island town called St. Amelia to "put things right", and what follows is described as tense evasion, explosive confrontations and puzzles that surface the truth of the place. That framing matters, because Townfall has always been the odd one out in Konami's Silent Hill revival slate - not a remake, not a numbered sequel, and built around first-person object interaction rather than the over-the-shoulder combat of the remake line. A pre-launch showcase slot suggests Konami wants one more clear look at what the game actually is before reviews decide for it.
Belmont's Curse arrives in October
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse lands on October 14, and its credits explain a lot about how it looks. It is a 2D action-exploration game from Konami with Evil Empire and Motion Twin - the studios behind Dead Cells and its years of post-launch expansion - and it stars Rose Belmont in a story set 23 years after Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse. Konami released an English voice cast reveal on August 24, and the showcase is the natural place for a proper gameplay deep dive.

The screenshots Konami has published lean hard into contrast - candlelit stone interiors against saturated red skies - and the traversal shots show the whip being used as a grapple point rather than purely as a weapon. Given who is making it, the interesting question is how much Dead Cells' momentum and hit-feel has been carried across into a Castlevania that is explicitly action-exploration rather than roguelike, and that is exactly the kind of thing a 30-minute broadcast is for.

Rev. NOiR gets a second appearance
Rev. NOiR is the new IP on the card. Konami first showed it during PlayStation's February 2026 State of Play, where it introduced a supernatural catastrophe called "lightfall" that kills anyone it touches. Since then it has been almost entirely quiet, so a named slot in a Konami-run showcase is the strongest signal yet that the game is far enough along to show moving footage rather than mood.
Project Zircon and eFootball fill out the rest
Project Zircon is Konami's community co-development experiment - a roguelike card game whose direction has been steered by polls and feedback on X and Discord, with a trial build put in front of players at a closed event in June 2026. It is a strange fit next to Silent Hill and Castlevania, but it is also the kind of project that lives or dies on visibility, and a mainline showcase slot is the biggest platform it has had.
eFootball Kick-Off! rounds out the confirmed list, which leaves the "and more" bucket. Konami's own note that the stream "will feature titles intended for mature audiences" is doing some work there; so is the fact that the publisher told Gamescom attendees last week that it wants a new Silent Hill every year and has "many" unannounced projects already in development with external studios.
Where and when
The broadcast streams on Konami's YouTube channel on September 3 at 8:00 a.m. PT / 11:00 a.m. ET / 4:00 p.m. BST / midnight JST on September 4, and runs about half an hour. PlayStation's State of Play and State of Play Japan air the same day.
