NTE: Neverness to Everness Launches April 29 as Hotta Studio's Supernatural Urban RPG Goes Cross-Platform With 100+ Free Pulls

From the Tower of Fantasy studio, NTE launches April 29 as a supernatural urban open-world RPG across mobile, PS5, PC, and Mac with full cross-play and over 100 free pulls at launch.

Hotta Studio — the team behind Tower of Fantasy — is swinging for the fences with its next project. NTE: Neverness to Everness launches globally on April 29 across iOS, Android, PlayStation 5, PC, and Mac, with full cross-platform support from day one. If you have been waiting for a gacha RPG that genuinely tries to blur the line between mobile and console experiences, this might be it.

Set in the sprawling city of Hethereau — a place where the ordinary and the supernatural coexist in uneasy balance — NTE casts you as an Appraiser, a specialist tasked with investigating and containing the anomalies that plague the urban landscape. Think of it as part action RPG, part city-life simulator, with a heavy dose of the paranormal threaded through everything.

An Open World That Actually Feels Urban

Where most gacha games offer hub areas dressed up as open worlds, NTE is going for a fully realized city. Hethereau is built to feel like a living, breathing metropolis, complete with businesses to manage, sports cars to modify, and a social layer that lets you carve out your own lifestyle alongside the monster-hunting. It is an ambitious pitch, especially on mobile — but Hotta has been refining the concept across two global beta tests, and early impressions from the February closed beta suggest the ambition is at least partially backed up by execution.

Esper Abilities and Combat

Combat revolves around Esper abilities — supernatural powers that let you navigate, fight, and interact with the anomalies scattered across Hethereau. The action leans into hack-and-slash territory with flashy combo chains and special moves, but the variety of Esper types and the interplay between party members adds a strategic layer that should keep encounters from feeling monotonous over the long haul.

Generous Launch Rewards

Hotta is clearly trying to make a strong first impression. The launch event promises over 100 free pulls, multiple collaboration events, redeemable codes, and a slate of gameplay optimizations that were implemented directly in response to beta feedback. For a free-to-play gacha title, that is one of the more generous onboarding packages we have seen in recent memory.

NTE: Neverness to Everness launches April 29, 2026 on iOS, Android, PlayStation 5, PC (via dedicated launcher), and Mac. Cross-platform play and cross-save are fully supported across all platforms.
