Sony has finally put dates and prices on the accessory lineup it has been teasing for the past year. The FlexStrike wireless fight stick — the first-party arcade controller formerly known as Project Defiant — launches worldwide on August 6, 2026 at $199.99 / €199.99 / £179.99, with pre-orders opening June 12. It arrives in deliberately good company: Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, PlayStation’s big tag-team fighter, launches the very same day.
Built for tournaments, sized for a backpack
FlexStrike works on both PS5 and PC and is pitched squarely at competitive play and portability. It connects over PlayStation Link for low-latency wireless, packs a built-in rechargeable battery and ships with a sling carry case for hauling it to locals — a clear signal that Sony wants this thing showing up at fighting game events, not just living on a shelf.
A 27-inch monitor with a DualSense hook
Sony’s 27-Inch Gaming Monitor follows on August 27 at $349.99, though only in the United States and Japan, with pre-orders starting June 5. The QHD (2560×1440) IPS panel supports VRR and runs at up to 120Hz on PS5 and PS5 Pro, climbing to 240Hz when fed by a compatible PC or Mac. Its party trick is a fold-out hook below the display that holds and charges a DualSense controller — a small touch aimed at the desk-bound PS5 player Sony says this screen is designed for.
Pulse Elevate waits in the wings
The third member of the lineup, the Pulse Elevate wireless desktop speakers, slips to “later in 2026” with pricing and pre-order details still to come. Sony says the speakers borrow audio technology from its Pulse Explore earbuds and Pulse Elite headset and are designed to pair with the new monitor — in black or white, to match whichever side of the desk divide you sit on.
