Pokémon TCG Pocket B3 Expansion Launches April 28 With 200+ Cards and a Major Reward Overhaul

Pokémon TCG Pocket's B3 expansion arrives April 28 with 200+ new cards and a major shakeup: Dex Missions and Emblem Tickets are being retired in favor of collection-based rewards.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is gearing up for its next major content drop with the B3 expansion, set to launch on April 28. The new set, which follows March's Mega Shine expansion, will add over 200 new cards to the mobile card game's growing collection. But the expansion also brings some significant structural changes that will reshape how players earn rewards going forward.

Dex Missions and Emblem Tickets Are Going Away

The biggest change coming with B3 isn't a new card — it's the removal of Dex Missions and Emblem Tickets. Starting with this expansion, the longtime reward system is being retired entirely. In its place, Emblems and exclusive cosmetic rewards will be tied directly to completing specific set conditions within expansion collections. Think of it as consolidating the reward track into the collection itself rather than maintaining a separate mission system alongside it.

It's a move that simplifies the overall progression flow, though some longtime players may miss the structured goals that Dex Missions provided. The shift suggests the development team is streamlining the experience to make it more accessible to newer players while reducing the number of parallel systems to manage.

New Cards and What to Expect

With over 200 new cards confirmed, B3 is shaping up to be one of the larger expansions in the game's post-launch cycle. While the full card list hasn't been officially revealed yet, leaks and community speculation point to new Mega Evolution cards continuing the theme established by the Mega Shine set. The official trailer dropped today, giving players their first real look at what's coming.

Pokémon TCG Pocket has maintained a steady monthly expansion cadence since launch, and B3 keeps that rhythm going strong. The combination of fresh cards and a revamped reward system should give both collectors and competitive players reason to dive back in when the set goes live on April 28 at midnight UTC.
