Street Fighter 6 Year 4 Brings Final Fantasy VII's Tifa Lockhart Into the Ring - Capcom's Summer Game Fest Reveal Lines Up Newcomers Yasmine and Arjun and World Tour Rival Bosch Across 2026 and 2027

Capcom revealed Street Fighter 6's Year 4 at Summer Game Fest 2026, headlined by Final Fantasy VII's Tifa Lockhart as a guest fighter. The season - the first with no returning classics - adds newcomers Yasmine (Summer 2026) and Arjun (Autumn 2026), Tifa in early 2027, and World Tour rival Bosch in Spring 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Capcom saved a genuine showstopper for Summer Game Fest 2026. Street Fighter 6 is heading into its fourth year of content, and headlining the new roster is a guest fighter who needs no introduction: Tifa Lockhart from the Final Fantasy VII remake series is throwing hands in the World Warrior tournament.

The Year 4 trailer laid out an unusual lineup — for the first time, a Street Fighter 6 season features no returning classic characters. Instead, fans are getting three brand-new faces plus Tifa as a crossover guest, a sign of just how confident Capcom is in growing the cast with fresh blood.

The season kicks off this Summer 2026 with Yasmine, a high-schooler from the Philippines who joins the fight to track down her long-lost brother. She wields a crescent-shaped karambit, dancing around opponents with high-speed, knife-led pressure that looks unlike anything currently on the roster.

Next up in Autumn 2026 is Arjun, a newcomer who draws on Indian martial arts for a grounded, technical style. Then comes the big one: Tifa Lockhart arrives in early 2027, timing that lines up neatly with the launch of Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the closing chapter of Square Enix’s remake trilogy. Closing out the year in Spring 2027 is Bosch, the rival from SF6’s World Tour mode making the jump from story-mode NPC to fully playable fighter — a nod fans of the single-player campaign have wanted for years.

Three years on from launch, Street Fighter 6 remains the standard-bearer for the genre, and a roster built entirely around new and guest characters is a bold statement of intent. Whether you are here for Tifa’s Final Fantasy crossover potential or simply hungry for fresh archetypes to lab, Year 4 is shaping up to be one of the game’s most ambitious stretches yet. It launches across PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
