Summer is in full swing on the Global track. Umamusume: Pretty Derby — Cygames' 3D horse-girl racing sim and reigning Best Mobile Game winner from The Game Awards 2025 — is heading into one of its busiest months yet. July 2026 pairs a 1.5th Anniversary Celebration with a rotation of five spotlight banners, the Leo Cup Champions Meeting, and two story events that each hand out a free SSR.
Gold Ship and Mejiro McQueen hit the beach
The month kicks off with the debuts of Gold Ship (Summer) and Mejiro McQueen (Summer), two of the roster's most beloved trainees decked out in seasonal outfits. Their banner arrives alongside a pair of new support cards, the Maruzensky Speed SSR and the Nakayama Festa Wit SSR — a strong opening salvo for anyone building toward the summer race calendar.

A month of debuts and reruns
The banners keep coming after that. Later windows introduce Bamboo Memory (with reruns of the Yukino Bijin and Ikuno Dictus support cards), Copano Rickey paired with the Manhattan Cafe Stamina SSR, and Smart Falcon arriving with a fresh batch of support cards including an Agnes Tachyon Speed SSR. With banners running roughly one to two weeks each and some overlap between them, trainers will want to plan their carats carefully.

Free rewards and the Leo Cup
It isn't all spending, either. A summer-themed story event starring Gold Ship and Mejiro McQueen rewards a free Guts SSR featuring Sakura Chiyono O, while the 1.5th Anniversary Celebration Missions dole out login and gameplay bonuses across the month. Competitively, the Leo Cup Champions Meeting gives trained-up teams a marquee event to aim for.
Available on iOS, Android and Steam, Umamusume: Pretty Derby continues to lean on the formula that made it a breakout hit — expressive characters, genuinely tense 18-runner races and a training loop that keeps you coming back. July's stacked calendar is a reminder of just how much runway the Global version still has ahead of it.
