Among the more unsettling reveals at The MIX Summer Game Showcase 2026, Shueisha Games confirmed that its psychological adventure UN:Me is no longer a PC exclusive: the game is now headed to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 alongside its previously announced Steam release, with a launch planned for 2026.
Developed by historia Inc. — the studio behind the acclaimed LIVE A LIVE remake and The Caligula Effect 2 — with scenario planning led by Takuya Yamanaka, UN:Me bills itself as a “Soul Triage Adventure,” and the trailer leans hard into its eerie, dreamlike presentation.
A girl, four souls, one body
You guide a girl who awakens in a mysterious mental labyrinth with four voices echoing inside her mind — human “souls” adrift in the maze. Each soul harbours its own desires, traumas and unique skills, and each will try to seize control of her body whether you want it to or not. Progress comes through dialogue, as you confront the souls and work through their individual wounds.
Choose who is real — and who to erase
The hook is a harrowing one. To escape the labyrinth, you must ultimately decide which souls to keep and which to erase. Every time a different soul takes the wheel, both the dangers around you and the actions available to you transform, turning the girl’s fractured psyche into the game’s central mechanic.
Platforms and release
UN:Me is planned as a digital release for PS5, Switch 2 and Steam in 2026. Shueisha Games notes the game contains mild violence and horror, fitting for a story built around trauma, identity and the unsettling question of which version of a person deserves to survive.
One to watch for adventure fans
With historia’s pedigree and a genuinely novel premise, UN:Me is shaping up to be one of 2026’s most intriguing narrative experiments. The expansion to PS5 and Switch 2 means a lot more players will get the chance to step into the labyrinth when it arrives.
