Series producer Motoi Okamoto told press at Gamescom 2026 that Konami's aim is "an annual release of new games" for Silent Hill, and that "many projects" remain unannounced. The recent record backs him up: the Silent Hill 2 remake in 2024, Silent Hill f in September 2025, and Townfall on 24 September 2026, each from a different external studio.
