Appalachia is crawling with something new. Bethesda dropped the launch trailer for Fallout 76: Infestations during the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, the newest content drop for its long-running online wasteland.
As the name suggests, Infestations leans into a swarming new threat, giving solo wanderers and squads of survivors fresh reasons to load back into Appalachia. Years after a rocky launch, Fallout 76 has steadily grown into one of Bethesda’s most consistently supported live games.
The update is rolling out across PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation, and remains available on Game Pass for subscribers looking to dive back in.
