Shift Up's hit free-to-play shooter-RPG Goddess of Victory: NIKKE kicked off its "Bitter Spice" update on May 28, 2026, finally completing one of the game's most anticipated idol line-ups while serving up a brand-new story event, fresh costumes and a powerful SSR unit.
The headliner is Prika, an SSR Supporter affiliated with Tetra Line and the idol group T.T. STAR. Wielding the sniper rifle "Chasing Star," Prika is built around sustain: her kit continuously heals and reinforces allies, and her Burst Skill restores HP while shoring up the squad's stability — exactly the kind of glue unit that holds aggressive teams together.
With Prika's arrival, the T.T. STAR trio is at last complete, giving the in-universe pop group its full roster after months of teases in Shift Up's developer notes.
The BITTER SPICE story event
The update's centrepiece is the new story event, BITTER SPICE. Following Anis's departure, Mint and Prika begin promoting as T.T. STAR — but tensions quickly rise between the two idols as creative differences and the mounting pressure of an upcoming comeback start to pull at the act. It is a more character-driven, slice-of-life detour than NIKKE's usual apocalyptic fare, leaning hard into the idol fantasy that has become one of the game's signature flavours.
