Netmarble is bringing one of the cult sci-fi MMORPGs of the 2000s back to life. RF Online Next, the official sequel to RF Online, launches worldwide on June 16, 2026, and it's arriving simultaneously on mobile and PC - playable on iOS, Android, the Netmarble Launcher and the Epic Games Store, with cross-play and cross-progression across all of them.
The series' identity has always been its enormous, three-faction PvP war, and Next keeps that front and center while layering in modern systems. The headline addition is the Biosuit, which lets you switch classes seamlessly in the middle of combat - swapping roles on the fly to react to a shifting battlefield rather than locking yourself into a single build.
Mechs, summons and aerial combat
Large-scale warfare is backed up by the franchise's signature toys: pilotable MAUs and Launchers for battlefield-scale firepower, powerful Animus summons, and fast-paced aerial combat designed to keep the massive faction clashes feeling kinetic rather than static. It's a sci-fi setting where machines dominate, and the scale of the PvP is clearly the pitch.
Global pre-registration has been running since April 22 through the official site and the mobile storefronts. With the worldwide launch now locked for June 16, 2026, fans of the original - and newcomers curious about a genuinely large-scale mobile MMORPG - don't have long to wait.
