Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is coming to consoles. Netmarble and developer Netmarble Neo have set the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S launch for November 3 at 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET, which is midnight UTC on November 4. The action RPG has been on PC since November 2025. The console release is a paid game: $39.99 for the Standard Edition and $44.99 for the Deluxe Edition. Both store pages are already live.
A little later than planned
When Netmarble first gave the console versions a window in April, it said Q3 2026. That quarter ended a month ago without a date, so November 3 is a short slip rather than a long one. It also lands almost exactly a year after the PC launch on Steam and the Microsoft Store on November 24, 2025, where the game still sells for $39.99.
It is worth being clear about which Solo Leveling game this is. ARISE OVERDRIVE is not a port of the free-to-play mobile gacha game Solo Leveling: Arise. Netmarble has described it as a separate project built by a different team. It is a premium action RPG you buy once, with no character banners deciding who you can play.
What you play
The game adapts the webtoon about Sung Jinwoo, the weakest E-Rank hunter, who becomes something far more dangerous after a near-death experience inside a dungeon. The series has racked up more than 14 billion views, and the game follows Jinwoo's rise from those first gates. It also adds chapters that exist only in the game and not in the original story.

Combat is fast and combo-based. You chain weapon attacks and skills, and you can parry and use a last-second dodge called Extreme Evasion to turn a boss's attack into an opening. As Jinwoo grows, his Monarch powers come online, including the Shadow abilities fans of the series will expect: raising defeated enemies to fight beside him. A skill tree lets you push him toward the playstyle you prefer.
Co-op raids and crafting
The headline mode is four-player co-op. Groups take on raids against powerful Commander bosses, and you are not locked to Jinwoo. You can also form a party from the other hunters in the story and fight as them. Weapons come from crafting with materials dropped by monsters, and the list includes gear webtoon readers will recognise, such as Kasaka's Venom Fang.

The game has had a steady run of patches on PC over its first year. Netmarble has fixed co-op bugs, adjusted hunter skills and added paid cosmetic packs. That year of updates is the game console players are buying into, not the version PC players got at launch.
Editions and price
There are two editions on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S:
- Standard Edition, $39.99: the full game.
- Deluxe Edition, $44.99: the full game plus an exclusive Sung Jinwoo costume, a Cha Hae-In emoji set and a bundle of extra in-game items.
That $5 gap is small, so the Deluxe Edition mostly comes down to whether you want the outfit. The game itself is identical in both.

What about Switch 2?
There is no Nintendo Switch 2 version announced with a date. For now the console release covers PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. PC players on Steam and the Microsoft Store already have the game and do not need to do anything on November 3.
