Kuro Games has charted the next chapter for Wuthering Waves, and it's a homecoming. Version 3.5, titled “Blade of Past Resounds, Lingering Dream Hymns,” launches on July 10, 2026, sending Rovers back to Huanglong to dig into lingering mysteries around Jinzhou. The studio detailed the update during its Version 3.5 Preview Special Broadcast on June 26.
The marquee addition is a brand-new explorable area, Mengzhou: Land of Xuanfang, a city defined by strange mechanisms and old traditions that ties directly into the version's story quests. It's the latest expansion of the game's map since the move beyond the original Solaris-3 regions.
A stacked Resonator lineup
Version 3.5 is front-loaded with new playable Resonators. Phase I introduces Yangyang: Xuanling, a new Havoc-element take on the longtime fan favorite, alongside two Spectro newcomers in Lynae and Luuk Herssen. Phase II then brings Suisui, a Glacio user revealed to be Yangyang's younger sister, and the Fusion-element Aemeath.
For longtime players sitting on a pile of saved-up currency, the update also revives the Reverb Convene, a large rerun banner that puts a stack of past five-star Resonators, including Jiyan, Yinlin, Jinhsi, Changli, Zhezhi, and Xiangli Yao, back in the spotlight at once. A Starpath Reverbs selector lets dedicated Rovers pick from that returning pool.
Codes, platforms, and what's next
As usual, the preview broadcast handed out a batch of free redemption codes. At launch, players can cash in MECHANISMCITY, INTOTHEFOG, and REUNION for Astrite and upgrade materials before they expire.
Wuthering Waves remains free-to-play across iOS, Android, PC, and PlayStation 5, and the open-world action RPG continues to expand its platform reach. Version 3.5 lands July 10 for existing players, with the usual pre-load expected to open a couple of days ahead of the update.
