Fortnite x Overwatch Crossover Leaked — Tracer, D.Va, Genji, and Mercy Skins Reportedly Coming in May

Reliable dataminer HYPEX has leaked details of an upcoming Fortnite x Overwatch crossover, with Tracer, D.Va, Genji, and Mercy skins reportedly arriving in May 2026.

Fortnite x Overwatch Crossover Leaked — Tracer, D.Va, Genji, and Mercy Skins Reportedly Coming in May

If the leaks are to be believed, two of gaming's biggest live-service juggernauts are about to collide. Prominent Fortnite dataminer HYPEX has surfaced evidence of an upcoming Fortnite x Overwatch crossover, with details pointing to a batch of iconic hero skins arriving as early as May 2026.

Four Heroes, One Battle Bus

According to the leaked data, the crossover will introduce skins for four Overwatch heroes: Tracer, D.Va, Genji, and Mercy. All four are reportedly based on their current Overwatch 2 designs, meaning updated visuals rather than legacy looks. The character selection makes sense from a design perspective — Tracer's blink-and-recall kit translates naturally into Fortnite's fast-paced movement, while D.Va's distinctive silhouette and mech association give her instant visual recognition even without the MEKA unit.

Genji's cyber-ninja aesthetic is practically tailor-made for a battle royale skin, and Mercy rounds out the set as one of Overwatch's most recognizable faces. Each skin is expected to come with themed back bling and pickaxes, though specific cosmetic details beyond the skins themselves remain sparse.

A Porsche Macan Too

The leak also mentions a tie-in Porsche Macan SUV vehicle cosmetic, featuring four Overwatch-themed decals. It is unclear whether the Porsche is bundled with the crossover event or sold separately, but branded vehicle skins have become a staple of Fortnite's collaboration playbook over the past year.

For Blizzard, the crossover represents a chance to put Overwatch characters in front of Fortnite's massive audience at a time when Overwatch 2 continues to push seasonal content and competitive updates. For Epic Games, adding Blizzard's roster to Fortnite's already enormous collaboration catalogue would mark one of the most significant gaming crossovers the platform has hosted.

Nothing Official — Yet

It is worth emphasizing that neither Epic Games nor Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed the collaboration. HYPEX has a strong track record with Fortnite leaks, and the level of detail in the data suggests this is more than idle speculation — but until an official announcement drops, all details remain subject to change.

This would not be the first time Fortnite has bridged the gap between competing gaming ecosystems. Previous crossover events have pulled in characters from everything from Marvel and Star Wars to Street Fighter and Dragon Ball. An Overwatch collaboration would be notable, however, for uniting two games that have historically competed for the same live-service audience.

If the timeline holds, expect the Fortnite x Overwatch event to land sometime in May 2026. Given the cultural weight of both franchises, a formal reveal is unlikely to stay quiet for long.
